In-store service

most customers bring in their computers to our store / lab for evaluation and repairs.  This is the most economical way to have your computer systems evaluated and repaired.

 

In-home / business site service

There are many cases where bringing the computer into the store is not a practical solution.  Additionally if you need to have a network or security system installed this must be done “on-site”.  We can also setup business machines where the employees are located in an on-site visit.

 

Contracted Services

Many business accounts as well as more and more home users wish to have on-site service contracts.  On-site contract assure on-going maintenance for your computers and networks as well as offer guaranteed repair times when you do have a computer issue.

 The Computer Depot Maintenance Plan includes the following:

 This plan includes a client visit on-site or over the internet once a month.  Each office visit will take place during regular business hours or after (upon agreement).  This plan is intended to keep the existing Computer Depot monitored network secure and running at optimum performance.  This level of security and performance is achieved by consistently running software and firmware upgrades and patches that are released by Dell, HP, IBM, Linksys, Microsoft and others as applicable.  Each desktop computer or laptop, server, router, firewall, network printer will be periodically checked for updates during the monthly visits.

With the detailed system report both The Computer Depot and the business/home owner can make new equipment recommendations of future upgrades very simply.  The Computer Depot offers labor discounts (as listed in this contract) and priority service calls not offered to non-contract customers.  Please contact us about a contract specific to your needs.

Pre-scheduled visits will include some or all of the following as required:

 

  • Check event logs for any problems

  • Check virus protection software and update as needed

  • Windows for and install critical updates

  • Office Updates

  • Other Application Updates

  • Check all backup procedures and correct if necessary

  • Disk Cleanup and De-fragmentation

  • Detailed reporting of any suggested updates or issues

  • Clean all machines of dust and debris bi-annually
